Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the QualiSearch Academic Press website, accounts, submission systems, reviewer tools, and related online services. By creating an account, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.
1. Publisher and scope
QualiSearch Academic Press is a unit of the QualiSearch Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Development, based in Tagaytay City, Cavite, Philippines. These Terms apply to website and account use. Journal-specific editorial policies, author declarations, reviewer obligations, publication agreements, licenses, and fee notices also apply when relevant.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must have the legal capacity to create and use an account. If you act for co-authors, an institution, or another person, you represent that you are authorized to do so. Contact the Press before registering if legal consent from a parent, guardian, or institution is required.
3. Account information and security
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Keep your password confidential and do not share accounts.
- Promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by a failure within systems controlled by the Press.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, impersonate another person, submit unlawful or knowingly false material, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, interfere with security controls, introduce malicious code, scrape protected information, access another user's records, or use the platform to manipulate editorial or peer-review decisions.
5. Scholarly submissions and peer review
Account creation does not guarantee acceptance, review, publication, indexing, certification, or a particular decision timeline. Authors remain responsible for originality, authorship, disclosures, permissions, research ethics, participant protection, and the accuracy of submitted work. Reviewers must protect confidential material and disclose relevant conflicts of interest.
6. Intellectual property
You retain rights in material you submit, subject to the permissions and licenses separately granted for evaluation, processing, publication, preservation, indexing, and dissemination. Website design, branding, software, and publisher-created content may not be copied or exploited without permission except where law or an identified open license allows it.
7. Fees and payments
Any applicable publication fee, currency, payment deadline, and verification requirement will be disclosed through the publication workflow. Account registration by itself does not create a publication-fee obligation. Payment does not guarantee acceptance or publication. Any refund or correction request is assessed under the applicable published policy and transaction circumstances.
8. Service changes and availability
The Press may maintain, update, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, editorial integrity, or operations. Reasonable efforts will be made to protect records and communicate material interruptions, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or terminated for material violations, security threats, fraud, abuse, or conduct that compromises research or publication integrity. Where appropriate, the affected user will be informed and may contact the Press. Editorial and preservation records may be retained when required for legitimate scholarly, contractual, security, or legal purposes.
10. Responsibility and limitation
The service is provided with reasonable care for scholarly publishing operations. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Press is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by external networks, third-party services, user-provided content, or events beyond reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Notice. Privacy acknowledgment during signup is separate from agreement to these Terms and is not enrollment in promotional email.
12. Changes to these Terms
Material changes will receive a new version and effective date. New users accept the version shown during signup. Existing users may be asked to review and accept a future material update before using affected features, with appropriate notice.
13. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Questions or concerns may be sent to journals@qualisearchglobal.com or addressed to QualiSearch Academic Press, B12 L55 Oregano Street, Tagaytay Heights Subdivision, Tagaytay City, Cavite 4120, Philippines.
