About QualiSearch

The QualiSearch Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Development, commonly known as QualiSearch, is an independent interdisciplinary research and knowledge institution founded in the Philippines in 2019. It advances research capability, postgraduate professional learning, institutional consultancy, scholarly publishing, interdisciplinary collaboration, professional networking, research ethics and integrity, responsible artificial intelligence, research governance, and multimedia knowledge communication.

Its work is outward-looking and interdisciplinary because contemporary educational, institutional, social, cultural, technological, economic, governance, health, and development concerns rarely fit within one discipline.

Our Story

QualiSearch was founded by Dr. Von Lizares Sarino on the conviction that research should extend beyond academic compliance, degree completion, or publication. Research attains greater value when it develops people, strengthens institutions, informs practice, supports responsible decisions, expands access to credible knowledge, and contributes to meaningful social transformation.

From that philosophy, QualiSearch grew into an integrated ecosystem connecting the development, investigation, ethical stewardship, publication, collaboration, communication, utilization, and transformation of knowledge.

The QualiSearch Research Ethics Committee provides independent assessment and continuing oversight for eligible research involving human participants, identifiable private information, sensitive institutional information, or other ethically significant activity. Its mandate covers participant protection, research integrity, data governance, privacy and confidentiality, responsible AI, conflict-of-interest management, and compliance.

Through formal agreements, QualiSearch may serve qualified institutions as an external ethics-assessment, research-compliance, capacity-building, and referral partner for eligible non-regulated research. Support may include ethics manuals, SOPs, forms, submission systems, reviewer development, training, data-governance frameworks, responsible-AI protocols, monitoring, and quality assurance.

Scope & Regulatory Boundaries

QualiSearch clearly distinguishes academic approval, ethics assessment, site permission, and regulatory or specialized authorization. One does not replace another.

Research requiring PHREB-accredited, clinical, regulated, site-specific, or specialized review is referred, declined, or discontinued as appropriate.
